Saw on cable tv a documentary of the wild flowers of WA, supposedly the wild flower capital of the world. We were so impressed that we immediately googled, booked our car, motels and air tickets. The next week found us getting our rental car from Perth airport and driving more than 3000km crisscrossing the southern portion of WA. taking in the scenery, clean air, meeting some old friends and of course enjoyed WA wine.
No, they are not wild flowers but these tulips were found outside the restaurant at Mt. Baker |
