ZHANGJIAJIE

Unexpected weather in March, rain, some snow and bitter cold. Made photography very challenging. The temperature in the hotel lobby was 5 degree Celsius and 1 degree outdoor.

At this time of the year the crowd is small.

We had to get our tickets from this building and board a ''eco friendly diesel bus" from a staging area behind it.

Winter foliage and mist at the start of the 10 miles Nature Gallery.

The deciduous trees don't obstruct the view as in summer.

These rocky formations of sandstone are really unique.
